Hi, I’m John—a husband, dad of four, and Bible believer learning and growing right in the middle of real life. Lunchbox Leadership began in 2023 on an ordinary school morning, when my oldest was walking through a hard season and I felt the weight of not knowing how to help.
I started slipping simple notes into my kids’ lunchboxes—Scripture, short quotes, and lines of encouragement—to remind them who they are in Christ and help them believe it. Those quiet notes didn’t stay private for long. Classmates began reading them, teachers shared them, and staff would stop me just to say how much those little slips of paper meant.
What began at our kitchen table has grown into a wider calling: to build hearts, homes, and leaders with God’s Word in everyday moments. Now, through social media and this blog, Lunchbox Leadership offers weekly stories, Scripture, and practical steps to help you lead and love from a place of believing—not fear—wherever God has placed you.
